With the greatest of sadness, we announce the passing of Mrs. Corinne Rhoda Dares, Age 71, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Corinne Rhoda Dares, born January 9, 1951, was the daughter of Charlotte and Albert Mitchell, the youngest sister of Shirley (Steve Brooks), and Elva (Gerald Bussiers), all of whom passed before her.
The wife of the late Stanley Dares; and mother to two sons, Blaine (Ryan) and Troy (Sharmarie); one adopted daughter, as was known to the family Kristen Toussaint and grandmother to (Oriloh and Tithyan).
Corinne departed this earthly life in peace, surrounded by her two sons, Blaine and Troy, on Saturday, December 3, 2022, and with the loving support of the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert, Alberta. Corinne was born and raised in Fort McMurray and remained there until the Fort McMurray Fire on May 3, 2016, when she relocated to St. Albert, Alberta.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Fort McMurray on January 14th at 11:00 am at the Connection Church, located at 10012 Gordon Ave, Fort McMurray, T9H 4N7. Pastor Clay Hilton and associate pastor Kristen Toussaint will officiate.
