Obituary of Cody Allen Galbraith
It is with shattered hearts that we announce that we’ve lost a cherished son, grandson, father and friend. Cody left us suddenly on June 11, 2023, at his childhood home in Welsford, after a long battle he fought alone.
Cody Allen Galbraith was born December 28, 1993, to Valerie Holden and David Galbraith. Cody and his sister, Alison shared a bond like no other. Cody took great pride in becoming a dad and Melania was his entire world.
Cody will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Melania and her mother, Kiana Best; his grandmother, Marilyn Galbraith; parents, Valerie and David; sister, Alison; nephew, Kyson; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
In addition, Cody was predeceased by his grandparents, Marilyn and Dennis Holden and Lawrence Galbraith. As well as special family friends, Gary Morton, Debbie Lyon, and Ashley Doherty.
In memory of Cody, please take an active role in talking to your family and loved ones about mental health and addiction and the epidemic it has become. Please do a good deed or something special for someone in memory of Cody.
The family would like to extend a big thank you to those who came to assist on that tragic day.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). Visitation will take place on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, with a Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM in the Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will be held at a later date.
