It is with great sadness that the family of Clayton Stuart
Boudreau of Keswick Ridge announce his passing at the Dr. Everett
Chalmers Hospital on December 27th, 2022. Born in Rockland
ON, he was a son of the late Mansfield and Bertha (Leclerc)
Boudreau.
Clayton was a light and heavy-duty mechanic. A well-renowned
violin maker who also made various other musical
instruments. He was a self taught and accomplished
woodworker and musician, he was a founding member of the River Valley
Fiddlers. Clayton loved camping. He volunteered much of his free time
entertaining senior’s groups.
He is survived by 4 stepchildren; Barb (Les), Debbie (Keith),
Glendine (Rick), David (Lori), daughter-in-law Debbie, 8 step
grandchildren 10 step great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Violet and Hilda,
1 brother Paul, special friend Marie Hawkins, as well as numerous
nieces and nephews.
Beside from his parents, he was predeceased by his wife,
Lorraine; stepson Robert “Bob”; 1 brother, Shirley and 2
sisters, Amelia and Ina.
A funeral service will be held from Bishop’s
Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road on Friday, December 30 at 2:00
PM with Father Bill Brennan officiating. Interment to take
place in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in the spring. The
family would prefer masks be worn during the service.
No flowers by request, donations to the SPCA or a charity of
the donor’s choice.
