LeBLANC (BABIN), Claudette Marie
It’s with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grand-mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to so many. At the age of 63, Claudette passed away peacefully at her home in Meteghan on Friday, December 30th, 2022.
Claudette had studied Long Term Care in Sechelt, British Columbia, and previously worked at La Villa Acadienne. She had a great sense of humour, a free spirit, a lover of salt, sand, wind, earth and ocean; a friend to many, easy to talk to and confide in. Her greatest joys were being with her grandchildren, gardening and beachcombing for sea glass as well as travelling in her earlier years.
Surviving are her twin sons, Daniel (Jessica) and Christian (Eternitee); grandchildren, Neveah, Jayden and Caleb; step-grandchildren, Jaxx and Alex; mother, Barbara Babin; siblings, Lisa (Leonard) Doucet, Anna Babin (Late Herb Stiene), Nora Babin (Darrell Corporon); father of her children, Richard Leblanc; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased and now reunited with her father, Daniel Babin.
Claudette would have wanted us not to shed tears about her departure, but to raise our glass to her and share stories and laugh about the life she lived and how she is remembered. Join us in reunion at a later date to be determined.
