Cheryl Ann Verellen of Stratford, passed away peacefully with close family at her side at Stratford General Hospital on April 20, 2023. Born in Stratford, March 17, 1956, daughter of the late Ray & Beverly (Lotz) Fuhr. Survived by her husband of 49 years Bill, greatest sister Sandy Robb (Len), son Greg. Special aunt to Tricia Robb (Aaron Whetham), Caden, Cody, Brendon (Alex), Aidan & Jackson.
Survived by sister & brother in-laws, Madeleine (Harry) Visser, Louie (Karen) Verellen, Frieda (late Frank) Verellen, Gerry Boersen (late Renelda), Mary (Khokan) Guha, Andre (Therese) Verellen, John (late Brenda) Verellen, Josee Verellen. Many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by father and mother in-law Joe & Maria Verellen, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Rose & Pete Huitema, Alphonse, Joseph E. Verellen, and her special furbaby Spunky.
Cheryl was a wonderful lady who loved pandas and family gatherings that included friends that became family. Cheryl never complained about anything. She always happy to help anyone or listen to your worries. She loved to be home where she enjoyed playing cards and games. She was a great mother, sister and aunt who loved her family unconditionally. Her loved reached the skies and can never be replaced. She will be deeply missed by all those around her. Special mention to all the great nurses & doctors in the ICU that took care of her. Your attention and professionalism was greatly appreciated.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the Stratford General Hospital Foundation ( ICU equipment) through the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford.
