It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carol on September 14, 2023, at the age of 68. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bob of 46 years, her son Ryan (Jessica), daughter Nicole (Jamie), and her grandchildren Logan, Allison, Kaitlyn, Dane, and Sloan. She was predeceased by her parents Omer and Laura, brother Paul, sister Andrea and is survived by her younger brother Michael (Lia) and her aunt Joan. She will be remembered by her extended family and lifelong friends.
Carol was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Arts In Recreation Administration at the University of Alberta. She enjoyed a long career with Strathcona County in the recreation department.
Carol enjoyed reading, golfing, and curling. Her favorite travel destinations included Maui and Palm Springs. Carol also enjoyed cruises in the Caribbean.
Over the years, Carol was an active volunteer with Sherwood Park Minor Hockey, Relay For Life and was a member of the Sherwood Park Kinette Club.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Robin Hood Association.
