Prentzelene Laundry passed peacefully away at her home in New Perlican, NL, in the presence of her loving family on July 17, 2024, at the age of 77 years.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Albert Laundry; Parents Aaron and Annie Peddle; Father and Mother-in-law Hubert and Effie Laundry; Siblings Margaret King, Shirley Pennell, Elizabeth Batt, Mary Jones, Norman Peddle, Gerald Peddle, Ross Peddle, Shirling Peddle. Sister in Laws Roella Peddle, Ann Peddle, Valeria Peddle, Shirley Laundry & Dinah Richard; Brother in Laws Chess Laundry, Dick Ivany, Bill Jones, Byron Batt, Jim Batt & Bill Barlett.
Prentzelene is survived by her children; Keith Laundry (Lesa), Derek Laundry (Liz McDowell), & Christine Critch (Dean); Grand Children Jessica Laundry, Lauryn Laundry, Courtney Laundry, Dylan Laundry, Patrick Laundry, Michael Critch (Elizabeth), Matthew Critch, Amanda Hoskins (Mitchell); Great Grandchildren Marshall, Arielle, Brooklynn, Hunter, Gabriel, Dawson, Henry & Caleb. Also left to mourn; Sister Glenys Batt; Sister in laws Jessie Ivany, Mabel Bartlett, Diane Peddle & Gail Laundry; Brother in Laws Clayton Laundry (Diane), Roland Laundry & Calvin Laundry (Vivian), special friends of over 50 years, Joan and Cliff Blackmore, as well as other numerous family members and close friends
Prentzelene was an active member of the Salvation Army until her health issues prevented her from doing so. When she wasn’t spending time with her church or her two dogs that she cherished dearly, she was spending it with loved ones at special occasions and gatherings where she was often seen laughing and chatting up a storm with family and friends. She loved her family immensely, with her grandchildren and great grandchildren being her true pride and joy. Prentzelene will always be missed and remembered by all who loved and knew her.
The Family would like to give a special thank you to Joan and Cliff Blackmore for being with her in her final days and for being a place of comfort to our family during this very difficult time.
