With heavy hearts, the family of Sharon Gough (nee Parrell) share the devastating news of her sudden passing from this world on January 12th, 2024 at the age of 66.
Sharon was predeceased by the love of her life, Bill Gough, parents Ellen and Nicholas (Nick), and brothers Brian, David, Chris, Len and sister Anita. Leaving with beautiful memories and full hearts; her precious daughter Nicole (Raymond), darling son James (Sheena), and beloved grandchildren, Lily, Fayth and Max. Sharon also leaves behind her siblings Patricia (Orville), Gerard, Elaine, Jim, Mike (Debbie), Greg (Rhonda), cherished sister-in-law Vivian and a large circle of treasured nieces, nephews and friends. A special mention of her furry best friend Toby who remained by her side during her last moments on earth. The family extends warm gratitude to Randy and Bonnie Lear for their loyal friendship and for always being there for the family in good times and in bad.
Anyone who met Sharon loved her because they would immediately be “adopted” as family. She would say “You’re our family now, and I love you.” and give the most loving hug in the world. Her love was truly never-ending, and she would make sure anyone she loved knew she loved them.
Her family was most important to her, and she was their biggest cheerleader. Whenever her children or grandchildren achieved an accomplishment of any sort, she told anyone and everyone she met. The pride she had in her family was unwavering.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 17th from 2-9pm at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Service to take place on Thursday, January 18th at 11:00am from Caul’s Chapel. Private inurnment to follow at a later date. For those who cannot attend, a live stream will be available at vimeo.com/event/4019085 .
