It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Scott Murphy of Kilbride on August 2, 2024, at the age of 43.
Scott is survived by his beloved partner and love of his life, Regina Diaz; his devoted parents, Toni and Henry; his brother Chris and sister-in-law Shannon; and his cherished nephew Blake. He will be deeply missed by his special aunt and uncle, Alice and Fred Field, as well as his cousin Lori Powell, her husband Derm, and their daughter Lila; who were like siblings and a niece to him.
Scott’s memory will also be treasured by Divina and Mary Ann Diaz and their family in the Philippine’s, along with a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Scott will be fondly remembered by his lifelong friend Billy Morey and his colleagues at Rogers. Scott loved his career, enjoyed sports, and always had a story to make you smile. An avid hockey fan, Scott loved the game and often shared his enthusiasm for the Habs with friends and family. Scott had an incredibly big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He deeply cared for his family, friend and everyone fortunate enough to know him.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott’s memory can be made to Beagle Paws reflecting his love for his two dogs, Colby and Riley.
Cremation has taken place; a celebration of life will be held at Cauls Chapel Tuesday August 06th at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at the RC Cemetery Kilbride.
