Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving husband, Noreen Cathrine Brien (nee Carter), at the Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, June 13, 2024.
Predeceased by her son Michael; parents Kathrine and James Carter and sister Carol.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Michael; son Ken; sisters Marie and Shela; brothers Jim and Terry as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Noreen graduated St. Claires Nursing School as an RN in 1967 and later from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Masters of Education (Educational Psychology) in 1989. She supported numerous charitable organizations including leadership roles at JDRF and The Center for Life. Donation may be made in her name to the Center for Life.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 12 Noon – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Funeral Mass to take place from Our Lady Queen of Families Parish, Mount Pearl on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
