Passed peacefully away after a brief illness on June 23, 2024, Mary Burton (née Kavanagh), age 83 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Patrick Burton, parents, John and Dora Kavanagh, and brother, John.
Leaving to mourn are her two sons, Patrick and James Burton; devoted sister Margaret Hickman; nephews Christopher Hickman and Gerry Kavanagh; and nieces Stephanie Hickman, Cheryl Hickman, and Sharon Kavanagh.
Mary was a longtime parishioner and volunteer at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Mundy Pond.
Special thanks to the Palliative Care Team at the Miller Centre, who gave her exceptional care and compassion.
Mary will have a private funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 2nd, with an immediate burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
