Obituary
Margaret Rose Walsh, (nee Stamp), 89, passed peacefully away on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Born February 20, 1935, to the late James and Rachael Marie Stamp (nee Stone). Predeceased by her siblings, Ron, Rita, David and Anna.
Leaving to mourn are her son Fred (Marina), daughters Diane and Cathy, granddaughter Rebecca, step grandchildren Sheena (Cam) and Michael (Sabrina), two great grandchildren Katherine and Sofie, her brother Bob (Marina), sister Anita Dinn, and brother-in-law Doug Matchem (Ruby) and many other relatives and friends.
Devoted wife, mother and friend; a sweet lady and a lover of sweets and chocolate. She will be remembered fondly for her energy, infectious giggle and zest for life – and trying to play golf. She retired from her favorite job at the Department of National Defence where she enjoyed many lunchtime games of cards.
Many words of thanks to the caring and compassionate team at Kenny’s Pond Retirement Residence where she spent the past few years happily enjoying the music and activities that she once shared there with her beloved Fred.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m.
