In Loving Memory of Carmel Madden (Littlejohn)
Passed peacefully away at Kingsway Living, Paradise, on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the age of 84 years, Carmel Madden (Littlejohn) of Portugal Cove – St. Phillips, surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by her parents, Eugene & Mary-Ann Hynes; first husband, Phillip Littlejohn; Second Husband, Bernard Madden and Son, Douglas.
Leaving to mourn with broken hearts but many beautiful memories are her children; Gerard (Debbie), Terry (Gail), Tom, Eugene (Denise), Ray (Michelle), and Dolores Fowler; sister Dolores Stapleton (George); stepchildren son Ken Madden (Laurie); stepdaughter Marjorie Royal (John); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and special friend Maureen Haynes and family friend Barb Penney. Also, her many friends at Kingsway’s Living and Legion Branch 1, Blackmarsh.
The family would like to thank Carmel’s caregivers, especially all the wonderful staff of Kingsway Living, Paradise, who treated Carmel so kindly during her stay. She loved you all so much. Your kindness to Carmel and the family will not be forgotten.
Thank you so Rody Pike of the Heart Failure Clinic, Dr. Willoughby and Dr. Bragg from the Palliative Care Program for their outstanding care and attention that was given to Carmel.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel, LeMarchant Road. Cremation to follow.
