It is with the greatest sadness that we announce that Ann Marie Lake, age 67, of St. John’s, NL, passed away on Monday morning, January 8th, in St. Clare’s hospital after a short illness.
Born November 3, 1956, Ann was preceded in death by her beloved son Adam (Erin), her parents Elizabeth and Ches Milley, and her brother Herb Gulliver (Grace).
Ann Marie was happiest when surrounded by her family, which she insisted and fought to stay with for as long as she was able. In life, Anne Marie had a heart of gold. All those who met her were lucky to have encountered her kind and caring spirit.
She is survived by her loving husband, Fredrick; her granddaughter, Ashlyn, who brought her so much joy; her brother Michael Gulliver (Kathleen – deceased); her sisters Dianna Power (Jerome – deceased), Patricia Sheehan (David – deceased), Elva Owen (Ross), Doris Squires (Frank) and Brenda Lewis (Barry); and a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family and friends, too many to list here.
Visitation will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home on Lemarchant Road from 11:00am – 9:00pm on Thursday, January 11th, 2024, with a celebration of life to follow at a later date.
