Florence Ann Bennett Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Florence Ann Bennett on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital at the age of 64 years.
She leaves to mourn: brother James Bennett; and sisters: Helena (Bertram) Young, Christina (Stanley) Joyce, and Rosetta (Wilson) Coish; as well as a circle of extended family and friends.
Florence was predeceased by: parents Wallace and Agnes; and sister Olivera Bennett.
The family would like to thank everyone who in the past has made Florence’s birthdays and Christmases special. Thank you as well to Odelle Garnier and Eugene Colombe for caring for her in their home for the last 12 years.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Friday, August 23rd at 10:00 AM at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove, St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy donations in Florence’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Church.
