It is with great sadness that the family of David Gerard Burton announce his sudden passing at his residence on Monday, November 13th, 2023 at the age 67 years.
David was a hard worker, who was employed with the English School District for 28 years and retired at age 60.
David leaves to mourn: his loving wife of 35 years, Mercedes Burton (nee Marche); his daughters: Sherry (Gilbert) Brenton and Jennifer Burton (Darryl); son Robert Burton; stepson Robert Benoit; seven grandchildren: Samantha, Nathaniel, Chloe, A.J., Abby, Iris, and Adalynn; six brothers: John, Martin, Gary, Paul, Raymond, and Darrell; and sister Diane; as well as a circle of extended family and friends.
David was predeceased by: his father Abraham Burton; his mother Madeline Burton (nee McCarthy); his stepdaughter Wendy Benoit; his father-in-law Wallace Marche; and his mother-in-law Zetha Marche.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be announced at a later date.
