It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maxine Bryant (nee Noseworthy). Maxine passed peacefully after a brief illness at the HSC on July 23, 2024. She is predeceased by her husband, Paul Bryant; Her parents, May (Long) and Hayward Noseworthy; and her brother and sister, Don Noseworthy (Marina) and Joan Moores (Henley). Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of happy memories are her children Don Bryant (Janet) and his children Joshua, Jacob (Bethany), Seth (Emma), Saul (Kendall); Laurie Young (Scott) and her daughter Taylor (Brian); and Colleen Simms (Bill) and her children Elsa (Mike), Connor (Sarah Jane), Riley (Stephanie), and Morgan (Chantal).
Maxine will be remembered for her sense of humour, open mind, volunteerism, love of fish and chips, and her fierce love of her family, to whom she was known as the Lord of Chaos and always down for a party and a laugh.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation to take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, July 26th.
Funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 27th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
