It is with tremendous heartbreak we announce the unexpected passing of our truly loved daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend on Sunday, august 5, 2024. Kaylynn Emily May Wadland age 23 years.
Predeceased by her great grandparents: John and Shelia Wadland and Floyde and James Mercer and her beloved cat Pumpkin.
Left with endless memories her mother Shana Wadland; sister Katie Jean; devoted grandparents: Ruth and Bob; (Kaylynn was pops special girl, together they had an unbreakable relationship, She was truly his entire world); her dad Ronnie Dwyer; uncles: Robert (Jacquline) and cousins Kendra and Mackenzie, and Curtis (Joy) and cousins Haley and Liam; her fur babies Sadie and Gizmo; great aunts and great uncles: Judy, Debbie, Sue, Mavis, Don, Wayne and Donna; her special aunt whom she shared a special friendship with Angela; Nicole (Gina) we thank you for your support, guidance and friendship you had with Kaylynn, her coworkers at Legal Aid, a large extended family from the Wadland and Mercer families and a circle of friends.
Kaylynn will be remembered for her love of animals, she was foolish, funny and caring. Kaylynn had continued her education and became a paralegal and enjoyed her professional career to the fullest.
Kaylynn was independent, love to dance and sing – you could find her singing a song at karaoke bars. Just making people smile. Kaylynn loved her family with all her heart.
We have endless memories of Her, that we will forever hold in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 2:00pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2024 at 2:00pm from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel. Cremation to follow.
Please join the family at 41 Shaw Street at The Geraldine Rubia Center, after the service for refreshments and gathering.
