Debbie Diane Templeman (nee Stockley)
Passed suddenly away in the presence of loved ones at the Carbonear General Hospital on July 15, 2024 at the age of 53.
Predeceased by her loving mother, Ivy Stockley; her grandparents Ethel and Dolph Chaulk; and Evelyn Stockley and her beloved dogs Mr. Bo and Nugget.
Leaving to mourn the love of her life, her soulmate, Randy Templeman; her pride and joy, her son Christopher Squires (his father Chris Squires); her step-daughter who she loved like a daughter, Nicole Deveau (Richard); and her grandchildren who were the light of her life, Caden, Elsie and Carla Deveau; her loving father Tom Stockley; her siblings Tom Stockley (Valerie), Tony Stockley (Tanya), Cathy Efford (George), Lisa Masters (Brad); her father in-law and mother in-law Jim and Hilda Templeman; her brother in-law and sister in-law Jimmy, Pauline (Gil); and nieces and nephews, Cassandra (Mitch), Ashley, Devin, James, Melanie (Robbie), Matthew (Michelle), Daniel (Wendy), Cater, Chase, Logan, Savanna, Lucas, Meagan (Alex) and a number of great nieces; her dear friends Lori Anthony and Cynthia Hoskins, Aunt Dot and Uncle Wilf Budden as well as many extended family and friends and her beloved dog, Rubble.
A special thanks to the staff at Carbonear Hospital; and to Majors Morgan and Lisa Hillier for their support and conducting the service.
Debbie was like sunshine to everyone who met her. She was the best daughter, sister, friend, wife and absolutely the best mother and Nana in the world. We will all forever be better for the love she gave us.
Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 8pm-9pm as well as on Thursday July 18, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
Service will take place at the Salvation Army St. John’s West Corps on Mundy Pond Road on Friday July 19, 2024 at 2pm.
For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed and the link can be found at www.barretts.ca.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the SPCA in her memory because she always loved her dogs.
