Louise Bush age 98 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Friday September 13, 2024. Louise was born June 25, 1926 in Elizabeth, NJ the daughter of the late Joseph Barlow Janes and Helen Falkner Janes. She grew up in Rosell, NJ and Mountain Lake , NJ. Louise married her husband Robert Bush on May 22, 1948 and he pre-deceased her on March 31, 2005 after nearly 57 years of marriage. She was also pre-deceased by her brother and sister-in-law Joseph B. and Brooke Janes Jr. , brothers-in-law William Bush and Barney Bauldwin, and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Virginia and John Ketter. Mrs. Bush was the oldest member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Horseheads, NY and a member of The Home Bureau. Louise loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Louise is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law : Susan and Stephen Anderson of NC , Janet and Scott Dunbar of CA , and Roberta Sahlberg of NY ; grandchildren: Cynthia & Mark Marosek of TX, Lisa & Jason Huntley of NY, Patrick & Stacy Anderson of NC, Robert & Jenny Dunbar , and Russell & Christie Dunbar all of CA; great grandchildren: Austin Dunlap, Gavin Dunbar, Guiliana Dunbar, Emily Huntley, Carter Huntley, Rigby Anderson, Gray Anderson, Elise Marosek , and Devon Marosek; several nieces, nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friends and neighbors. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Friday September 20, 2024 from 11 AM and 1 PM. Mrs. Bush’s Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home immediately following calling hours at 1 PM.
