It’s with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Gwendolyn Peddle (nee Vey) of Long Beach, age 90 years.
Gwen passed peacefully away at the Dr. O’Mahoney manor in Clarenville, NL surrounded by her children.
She is predeceased by her parents, Ted and Mae Vey, seven brothers and one sister, husband Baxter, daughter Linda, granddaughter Jackie, and grandson Grant.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters Sheila Smith(Andrew), Elaine Spurrell(Henry), son Bryan Peddle and brother Roy Vey. Granddaughters, Sabrina, Mackenzie and Alexis Peddle. Grandsons Michael, Chad, Ryan,Evan, Noah, Logan and Robbie. Great grandchildren Liam, Henry, Jackson, Emmy, Sara, Manuel and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Dr. O’Mahoney manor for their kind and compassionate care. She will be remembered and deeply missed by all that knew her.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Marks Anglican Church, Long Beach.
Funeral service to take place at St. Marks Anglican Church, Long Beach on Thursday, August 22 at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at St. Marks cemetery Long Beach.
