1950-2023
It is with deepest sadness that we, the family, announce the sudden
passing of Robert (Bob) Sutton of Bay de Verde on October 5, 2023,
aged 73 years.
Bob as he was known to his friends and family was a husband, father,
uncle, musician, fisherman and friend.
He was predeceased by his mother, Lucy, father, William and brother,
John.
Leaving to mourn are his adoring wife of 42 years, Pauline; children,
Jennifer Sutton-Walsh (Scott) and son, Steven;
brothers, Roy and Garry; sisters: Ella Hawco, Nettie Blundon (Carson)
and Daphne Goodwin (Winston);
nieces and nephews: Caron, Tracey, Dana, Craig, Denise, Gwen, Amy,
Kim, Bill, Angela and Nicole;
as well as an extensive amount of extended family and friends.
Bob loved spending his time on the water, fishing and playing music
for his family and friends.
Visitation at Hopkins’ Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Saturday, October
7, 2023 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
and Sunday, October 8, 2023 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. to 9:00
pm.
Funeral service will take place on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
(tentative) from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde.
Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
