1941-2023
Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, at the
Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican, on Friday, December 8,
2023, Ivy Barrett of Old Perlican, aged 82 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Ronald; infant daughter, Bonnie; parents,
Elizabeth Jane Stringer and Allan Whalen;
brothers: Lawrence, Eldon (Pauline), Walt, and Rex; sisters, Minnie
(Allan) and Melvie (Roy).
Leaving with fond and loving memories, sons, Fred (Tina) and Raymond
(Rita); daughters: Donna (Bren) Power, Maxine (Lewellyn) Blundon, and
Jackie (Sheldon) Brookings;
grandchildren: Brittany (Kevin), Mitchell, Brianna (Peter), Robert
(Melissa), Raymond, Matthew, Mark, Ryan, and Rebecca (Ryan);
great grandchildren: Natalie, Kali, Clay, Leah and Jesse;
brother, Max (Marilyn); sisters, Eva and Evelyn (Aiden);
sisters-in-law, Annie and Bernice; as well as a number of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Holloway and the nurses and staff
at Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican for their care of
Ivy over the past while.
A special thank you is also extended to the staff of Kingsway Living,
Old Perlican for their wonderful care of Ivy where she resided for the
past five and a half years.
Visitation at Hopkins’ Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Sunday, December
10, 2023, 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm.

Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Old Perlican.
