It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Noel Farrell of Halifax, formerly of St. Lawrence announces his passing. Noel passed away at the Etobicoke General Hospital in Ontario on Thursday, December 21st, 2023, at the age of 48.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his partner, Treena Whelan; mother, Bernice Farrell (nee Pike); sisters, Laura Farrell (Daryl Tucker) of St. John`s and Carol Ann Jaynes of Keswick, ON; brother in law, Paul Whelan (Rita) of Sydney, NS; beloved nieces and nephews, Megan and Olivia Jaynes, Hannah and Hollie Whelan, Mitchell Whelan and Jacob Tucker; plus a large circle of extended family, friends and colleagues.
Noel was predeceased by his father, Carl Farrell of St. Lawrence; parents in law Brian and Susan Whelan of Sydney, NS.
Noel had a knack for finding the perfect opportunity to make those around him laugh. His sense of humour was endearing and will be greatly missed by all had the pleasure of experiencing it. Noel was a kind and compassionate person who cared deeply for his family, friends and his patients. He was a passionate dentist and an avid Iron Maiden superfan, he took in a concert whenever he had the opportunity and traveled to many different areas to do so. He touched the lives of many, may he rest in peace, leaving behind a legacy of smiles.

Cremation has taken place.
In Noel’s memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
