It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Elizabeth Reid formerly of Bay L’argent, NL announces her passing. Elizabeth passed away at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence, NL on October 02, 2024 at the age of 81.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her daughters, Madonna (Wayne) Scott, Doris (John) Harris; son, Roy (Mandy) Reid; 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Morgan (Olivia), Randall (Carla), Quinton and Isaac; 4 great grandchildren, Scarlett, Alana, Grayson and Eliza; brothers, Louis Hynes and Howard (Geraldine) Hynes; sisters in law, Audrey Hynes and Joyce (Leo) Gaulton; brother in law, Hayward (Alice) Reid; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Elizabeth was predeceased by husband, Morgan Reid; parents, James and Priscilla Hynes and brother, Jack Hynes.
In honoring Elizabeth’s wishes, cremation will take place.
A funeral service will take place at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on:
Monday, October 7, 2024 at 11:00am.
Inurnment to follow at St. Hilda’s Anglican Cemetery, Bay L’argent.
In Elizabeth’s memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society
