Timothy Joseph Harvey
Born June 26, 1961. Went to his Heavenly Home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus, on March 2, 2024. He had fought a health battle since December 26, 2023.
Tim was a loving husband, Dad, Papaw, son, brother, and uncle. He was a preacher of the Gospel and a hard-working and devoted family man. He was employed by Tenneco in Sevierville and had worked there for 32 years. He pastored two churches and filled in preaching for others as needed.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Bob Harvey, and his sister, Trina Harper.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Teresa Sharp Harvey; his children and grandchildren, Alaina Davis (Scott, Remi, and Rowan) and Katie Harvey (Brayden, Mallory, and Lennox); mother, Darlene Harvey; sisters, Tammy Cairnes and Tressy Sims; several nieces and nephews; and step-mother, Judy Harvey.
Family and friends will be received at Bridges Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 6 from 5-7PM, with service officiated by Pastors Bob Neal and Jim Sharp, Jr. following at 7PM. Additional eulogy will be provided by former boss and friend, Wendell Whitted.
Friends and family will proceed to Roseberry Cemetery Thursday, March 7 at 10:30AM for a graveside service at 11:00. Tim’s son-in-law and nephews will serve as pall bearers.
