Michael Ezekiel Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Michael John Ezekiel of Mount Carmel, NL, announces his passing on Friday, August 23, 2024 at the age of 75 years. Mike was predeceased by his father Patrick, mother Annie and sister Mary.
Mike lived each day to the fullest and was known for his generosity, always ready to give the shirt off his back and lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. His greatest pride and joy was his family and he dedicated his life to being a caring and loving husband, father and grandfather. The apple of his eye was his beloved grandson Jaxon, who was affectionately known as “Pop’s boy.” Mike’s infectious laughter and warm smile will be deeply missed by everyone who was fortunate to know him.
He will be lovingly remembered always by his wife Dot, daughters Michelle (Chris) and Janette (Jason), granddaughter Taylor, grandson Jaxon, his brothers and sisters, the Dalton family, his many nieces and nephews, as well as his large circle of friends. Special thanks and appreciation to his life-long buddies Clem, Larry, and Butch for always being there for him, along with the many other relatives and friends on his life’s journey. You know who you are, and you will all have a special place in our hearts.
As per Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The War Amps at www.waramps.ca
“It is one of the greatest gifts to miss you for it reminds us of how lucky we were
to love you.”
