Mom was an incredible woman who worked very hard caring for a very large circle of family, extended family and friends, while maintaining a full-time job of her own. Mom was so strong, loyal, funny and very intelligent. She allowed all of us to live our own lives, giving us just enough space to make our own choices, make our own mistakes, reach our own goals, create our own families, but stayed close enough to be there for us every step of our way. She helped us grow to be strong individuals and we will be forever grateful.
Mom loved the outdoors. She was happiest sitting by a river or in a boat with a fishing line in her hands. Mom and dad spent everyday together going on road trips, camping, boil-ups on the beaches and picking berries. She was very creative in crafts, sewing and knitting. Mom was the most well-rounded person in our lives. She truly was a beautiful soul.
At Eileen’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation and funeral will take place at a later date.
For anyone interested, donations are gratefully accepted to support Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, Harbour Main.
“When you look into your mothers’ eyes, you know that is the purest love you can find.”
