Passed suddenly away at his residence at Harbour Breton on Thursday, January 25, 2024, Sidney Cecil John Strowbridge, age 69 years of Harbour Breton.
Sidney leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Marguerite, of 47 years married; son, Sidney (Amy) at Harbour Breton; daughter, Debbie (David Baker) at Langley, BC; grandchildren, Brayden, Ethan, Alexander and Trinity; mother, Sarah Strowbridge at Harbour Breton; sister, Jane Strowbridge at Harbour Breton; special sister, Philomena (Max Clarke) at Trinity Bay; close friends, Levi Snook(Daphne Rose), Sheldon Sheppard (Gladys) and Chad Strickland (Shirley) all at Harbour Breton; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; fur babies, Bo, Maggie and Hemi.
Sidney was predeceased by his father, Cecil Strowbridge; parents in law, John and Bernadette Organ; other relatives and friends.
Visitations will take place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm both days.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11:00am with Rev. Jonathan Durdle officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
