Obituary for
Reginald Joseph Skinner
Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House at Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, October 8, 2023, Ronald Joseph Skinner, age 88, of Harbour Breton.
Ronald leaves to mourn his loving family: daughters, Phoebe (Lloyd), Mildred (Joseph), all at Harbour Breton, Christine (David) at St. Joseph’s Cove and Della (Aloysius) at St. Jacques; son, Ronald (Paulette) at Harbour Breton; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; brothers, Basil and Lloyd; sisters, Ida, Eliza, Josephine, Leona and Minnie; sister in law, Una Skinner; as well as a circle of other family and friends.
Roland was predeceased by his wife, Alice; brother, Walter; sister, Frances; grandson, Christopher Skinner; son in law, William Whittle; and parents, Charles and Phoebe Skinner.
Visitations will take place at Spencer’s Funeral Home, Harbour Breton on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm both days.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 12th, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, Harbour Breton with Rev. Jonathan Durdle officiating. Cremation will follow with inurnment at a later date.
