Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on August 11, 2024 at the age of 94, Mr. George Henry Foote, of Rencontre East.
George leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: son, Howard Foote (Ruth) at Rencontre East; step daughter, Marlene Augot at St. John’s; grandchildren, Bonnie, Chuck, Leroy, Lionel and Lance; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brother, Alfred Foote (Leah) at Grand La Pierre; and sister, Daphene Augot at Bay D’Espoir; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
George was predeceased by his wife, Selena; daughter, Marina Bolt; brother, Warden Foote; parents, Joshua and Mabel Foote.
Visitations will take place at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church at Rencontre East.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church at Rencontre East on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Tryphena Vallis officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Rencontre East.
