Craig Vincent Walsh Obituary
It is with much love and profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Craig Vincent Walsh of Grand Falls-Windsor on the morning of July 16th, 2024 at the young age of 59 years, after a brief struggle with cancer.
Predeceased by his mother Florence.
He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife Elaine Thiels, son Matthew Walsh, daughter Jessica Buchanan (Larry), grand daughter Ariana, father Vincent Walsh, brothers Deon (Val) and Chad; aunts Maxine Stride and Ina Blake. As well as many nieces and nephews and anyone who met or knew him.
Even though Craig was an immensely private man, his family wants everyone to know he accepted his illness, kept a hopeful heart, and always had a smile on his face. He was polite, to all who helped him and grateful for everything. His heart was full of love and appreciation. He will never be forgotten and forever loved.
He endured a lot in his brief struggle, too much for any one person to bear. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Our hearts are forever broken.
We would like to thank the community health nursing staff at 36 Queensway for their kindness and caring attitude towards Craig. They made it possible for Craig to pass at home with grace and dignity, and in comfort. Ruth and Susan, you will never be forgotten.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Red Cross in Grand Falls-Windsor in honour of Craig. He greatly appreciated the equipment need for him to stay home where he was surrounded by love.
