It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Thornhill of Fortune announce his passing at Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the age of 90.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son, Tony Thornhill (Christine) of Paducah, Kentucky, daughters, Joanne Harris (Cecil) of Grand Bank, Colleen Peach (Sterling) of Brampton, ON, Gail Thornhill (Jeff Keats) of St. John’s, Janice Trimm (Carey) of Grand Bank, grandchildren, Pamela, Jeffrey, Adam, Aaron, Caroline, Ian, great-grandchildren, Owen, Delaney, plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
Harold was predeceased by his wife, Irene, son, Gordon, parents, Frank & Agnes Thornhill, brothers, Gordon, Bill, Eli, sisters, Ruby, Susie and Shirley.
The Thornhill Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Fortune on
Monday, January 29th at
2pm – 4pm
7pm – 9pm
Tuesday, January 30th
2pm – 4pm
7pm – 9pm
Funeral service will take place at the United Church, Fortune on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 at 2:00pm. Cremation to follow. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
In Harold’s memory donations may be made to the Fortune United Church Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
