It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Charles Dominix of Fortune announce his passing. Charles passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on May 17, 2024, at the age of 78. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife of 58 years, Mary Dominix; son, Charles (Judy) Dominix of Fortune; daughters: Frances (Randy) Howell of Corner Brook, Doris Dominix of Fortune, and Bessie (Lloyd) Rowsell of Grand Bank; 7 grandchildren: Matthew, Shawn, Samantha, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, and Charley; great-granddaughter, Isabelle; sister, Brenda (Norman) Penney; sister-in-law, Louise Hillier; brothers-in-law: James (Cecilia) Caines, Andre (Marjorie) Caines, Roy (Tryphena) Caines, and Ray Caines; and special long-time friends: Bud & Daphne Davidge, and Mary Sheppard; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Vincent and Doris Dominix, Charles was predeceased by sister, Cecilia Dominix; parents-in-law, James & Stella Caines; sister-in-law, Mercedes (Fred) Caines; and brothers-in-law, Phillip & Tom Caines.
