Martina was a proud, quiet, gentle woman who always valued a friendly smile and a warm embrace for everyone whether they were family, friend or acquaintance. Amidst the challenges life brought, she never wavered in her Catholic Faith, sense of humor or compassion for others. Her first priority was always family. She taught her children resilience, independence, to have a strong work ethic, morals and values.
Martina’s legacy is of unending kindness, generosity and love of family, pillar of strength, faith, grace and cheerfulness. Even in sickness and pain, she never complained and still wanted to extend caring to her loved ones more than she did herself. Above all, she cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren, always wanting to know everything about their lives. Never missing a birthday, anniversary or special occasion, she ensured that all family knew they were loved and always in her thoughts and prayers.

“ When tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand
that an angel came and called my name
And took me by the hand.
The angel said my place was
Ready in Heaven for above and
That I’d have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.
But when I walked through
Heaven’s gate, I felt so much at home,
For God looked down,
Smiled at me and told me
“Welcome Home”. So when
Tomorrow starts without me,
Don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I’m right there in your heart “.
