Passed peacefully away on September 11th at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital with his family by his side, Philp Joseph Paul – age 95
Predeceased by Mary Paul, parents; Henry and Annie Paul, brothers; John, Joe, Phonse, Pete and Jim, sisters; Kit (Clowe) and Marie (Shannahan).
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons; Darryl (Maureen), Aubrey (Sheila), and Roddy (Colleen). Five grandchildren; Shane (Melanie), Stephanie (George), Kristen (Roger), Janine (Will) and Nicole. Eight great-grandchildren Brianna; Suzanna, Addison, Anna, Ava, Keegan, Chase and Jax. Also leaving a large circle of family and friends, to numerous to mention.
Special thanks to Dr. Dennis O’Keefe, Management, caring staff and all his friends at Alderwood Estates. Also special thanks to Drs and Nurses at St. Clare’s Emergency Department and 7 East floor.
Our Dad was a prominent, well-respected businessman in the community. He had several businesses over the years that dated back as far as the fifties, while working a full-time job in the bait service for the Federal Government.
Dad was a very talented musician, playing guitar and singing in the old thyme concerts for many, many years.
Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation can be made to Holy Trinity Restoration Foundation.
Resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home in Fermeuse on Friday September 13th from 2:00 pm to 9:00. Funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Ferryland at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 14th. Burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
