It is with profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Bernard Saunders born June 16th 1958 – October 19th 2023.
Bernard (Bernie) was a very funny, generous man with a big heart and was as large as life, he was much loved by the people that knew him the most!
Bernard is predeceased by his parents Wesley and Jennie Saunders and his brother Bruce (Jessie).
He leaves to mourn his beautiful wife and partner Audrey of 18 years, his two stepchildren Natasha (Anthony) and Dustin (Amanda) whom he loved dearly and they both loved him very much. His four grandchildren Olivia, Jayce, Avery and Savannah.
His eldest sister Betty (Boyde) and youngest brother Kent whom he was very close with and will miss him dearly. Siblings Carl (Lucy), Bonnie (Carl), Boyde, Pat (Pete) and Donna.
His mother in law Wilhelmina, his sister and brother in laws that he was close to Clar (Jeanne), Margaret Rose (Jesse), Mildred (Wilson), Robert (Rita), Corinna (Herbie), Madeline (George), Perry (Tina), Shirley (Jeff), Allan (Gail), Frazer (Amanda) and his many nieces and nephews.
He will be sadly missed by his Bestfriends- Walter Tulk (Marg), Max Squires (brother in Law) , Allan Hunt, Shawn Firmage (Paula). Kevin Paul (Suzette), Darren Lane (Roxanne), Shane Mason (Stephanie), Mary Paul (Rocky), Michelle Skiffington (Leroy) and his large morning ritual circle of coffee buddies and all the friends he met in his life.
For those of you who had known Bernie he surely made an impact in peoples lives, to know him was to know his quirky attitude, his silly humor and his ability to light up a room.
Bernies Memories will be greatly cherished and he will surely be missed .
Services for Bernard will be at a later date.
