Obituary
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Garry Andrew Payne announce his passing on Wednesday May 29, 2024 at the Corner Brook Pallitive Care Unit.
Garry was born to the parents of Basil and Maxine Payne of Cow Head.
Garry worked for Suncor in Fort McMurray, Alberta for years until he retired.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Susan ( Nick ), grandsons Kyle, Cody ( Hannah ), great-grandchildren Van, Anders, Blakely and baby’s mom Madalyn. Brother Dwight (Elizabeth ),sisters Melina, Delia ( Scott ), niece Dale Joan, nephews Darris, Warren, Ashley and Jonathan. Also a large circle of great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Garry was predeceased by his parents Basil and Maxine Payne, sister Sheila, brothers-in-law Rufus and Howard and niece Helen.
By keeping with Garry’s wishes ,cremation will take place with a memorial service on June 24th,2024 at 2:00 pm at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Cow Head.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital and the nurses at the Palliative Care Unit and to Parsons Funeral Home.
