It is with a heavy heart that the family of Yvon Joncas, announce his passing on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024 at hospital in Lourdes-de- Blanc Sablon (Quebec) at the age of 78 years.
Yvon was an outgoing person, who loved being surrounded by family and friends.
He had a wonderful sense of humour and he enjoyed outdoors activities, especially, camping and going to the cabin.
He spent many years travelling the coast, and meeting new people, during his 34 years working with Telus (formerly known as Quebec Telephone).
He was a detail oriented person, who liked to plan and was extremely organized. He organized and planned everything from creating small to do lists, to large events and travel plans.
He will be loved forever by his family and friends.
Visitation will take place at the Chapel of Peace Funeral Parlour in Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon on Wednesday June 26th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, June 27th, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
His funeral will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church on Friday, June 28th, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
