March 15, 1955 – December 13, 2023
It’s with heavy hearts and much love, we mourn the loss of Wade Karl McFatridge on 13th December 2023. Born on 15th March 1955 in Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland to Karl and Cora McFatridge. The father of Janet (Ryan) Russell, and Wendy (Mitchell) Sheppard. Proud Grandfather to Stephen, Luke, Rose, Annabelle, and Grace.
His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He cherished every moment he spent with them. He will be dearly missed by his children, grandchildren, his sister Heather and her two boys- Ian and Kyle Bennett along with other extended family and friends.
He enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting , fishing, and exploring the Island. Tinkering was a favourite pastime, but driving the roads of the west coast of Newfoundland delivering mail was his passion.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Stephenville SPCA.
