It is with broken hearts the family of the late Una Lillian Sibley announce her passing on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Calder Health Centre at the age of 71. Una was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by many, especially her precious son Joey; loving sisters Georgina, Wanda (Larry), Kathy (Robert), Shirley (Greg); brothers Brian (Kim), John (Darlene), James, Robert (Sharyl); aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Waiting to embrace her in the afterlife is her husband of 41 years Harold, her mother Maria (nee Pink) Courtney and Sidney; father Harold Keeping and Shirley; father and mother-in-law Joseph and Rita Sibley; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Terry Cookney, Austin and Hannah Sibley; and family and friends.
As an involved member of the community, Ramea, for much of her life, Una’s family recognizes that people will wish to pay their respects, therefore a visitation will be held at St. Boniface Anglican Church Hall in Ramea on Friday, September 27, 2024 from the hours of 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 2pm at St. Boniface Anglican Church with Interment to follow at the cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her son Joey, or a charity of one’s choice. Una will always be remembered for her love and dedication to family and friends, her nurture for animals, and her passion for laughter and life. Her bright and generous spirit will remain forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.
