It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sandra Marina Taylor announce her passing on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, NS at the age of 74 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Deborah Sarah Fives and Stewart William Taylor (Kathleen); grandchildren: Eleni Anastasia Karas, Steven William Karas, Michaela Anne-Elizabeth Taylor and Eleanor Michelle Taylor; sisters and brother: Violet Gregory (Greg), Aubrey (Ross) Carberry, Bernice Brenner and Reg Carter (Sharon); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Sarah Carter, grandson Brennan Taylor Karas, sister Betty Reeve, niece Susan Harnett and her cats Charlie and Clover Taylor.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Patricia Cemetery with Rev. Canon Tanya White officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. www.heartandstroke.ca/
