October 15, 1937 – January 1, 2024
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Mary Catherine Wilton on January 1, 2024 at Western Long Term Care (Palliative Unit) at the age of 86. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Gary (Denise) and Wayne Wilton who she loved dearly; grandchildren Mark, Stephen, Bradley, Meghan, Melissa; great grandchildren Kason and Sophia; brothers: Elvis Park (Joan), George Park, Vic Park (Sadie); sister Ruby Saunders; special friends Amanda, Kay, Marcella and Judy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert Wilton; son Malcolm (Mick) Wilton; daughter -in-law Wendy; parents Emily and Leslie Park; brother Albert Park; sisters Vanessa Smith, Hilda Hussey, Priscella Serick and Kara. Visitation will be held at Fillatre ‘s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00 am at Memorial United Church, Curling Street with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating, interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
