It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dominic Joseph Pokue Jr announce his passing on November 16, 2023, at Sheshatshiu, NL at the age of 38 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his common law partner: Constance Pinette, his children: Stephane Tshenu Pinette, Tuma Pinette (Thomas Mark Herrieux), John Michael Pinette and Lilly Ann Pinette. Also leaving to mourn is his father: Jerome Jack; his brother: Luke Nuna; and his sisters: Theresa A Pokue, April Pokue and Simone Nuna as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Dominic was predeceased by his mother: Anne Marie Pokue, his grandparents: Michel and Philomina Jack and Dominic and Ann Philomina Pokue and his sister: Annette M. Pokue.
Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Sunday, November 19th, 2023, from 7:00-9:00 pm. Visitation will also take place on Monday, November 20th, 2023, at 50 Mackenzie Drive in Sheshatshiu, NL starting at 6:00 pm.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 21st, 2023, at 11:00 am from the Roman Catholic Church in Sheshatshiu, NL with Father Joe officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sheshatshiu, NL.
