It is with great sadness that the family of the late Debbie Young announce her passing on Thursday, March 14th, 2024 at Western Long Term, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 65 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her companion Keith Roberts, brother Eric (Peggy) Young; sisters-in-law, Jane Young and Margaret Young; special nieces, Lana Childs and Lisa Young; special nephews, Eric and Paul Young; nieces and nephews, Glen, Cathy, Candice, Christina, Graham, Michael and Roy; as well as other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Molly Young, brothers Brian and Roy and sister-in-law Marie. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Western Memorial Hospital and Western Long-Term Care, Palliative Unit for the loving care and kindness shown to Debbie and to us.
Granting Debbie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 18th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive with Reverend Mickton officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael and All Angels Memorial Fund or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
