It is with profound sadness that the family of the Late David Willard Combdon announce his passing at the Health Science Center in St. John’s, NL on February 11, 2024, at the of 77 years.
He leaves to mourn, his wife Marie (Osmond); sons Keith Combdon (Rhodina) and Darryl Combdon (Lori); step-daughters Jennifer Pollard (Colin) and Khelia Pollard (Cory); step son Tyson Nicholas (Hilary); brother Eric Combdon (Elise); grandchildren Rebecca (Mike), Annie, Andrea (Steve), Jake, Scott, Ava, Nicole (Bradley), C.J. (Natasha), Terri (Daniel), Joshua, Kyle, Clifford, and Bella; great grandchildren Chase, Ellie, Addison, and Rylan; sister-in-law Jean Combdon; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large circle of friends.
David was predeceased by his parents Allan and Ula Combdon; son James Combdon; brother Gary Combdon; and sister Ruby Combdon.
The family would like to send a special Thank You to the nurses and staff at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital ICU in Corner Brook and the Health Science Center CCU in St. John’s.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Jackson’s Arm, where also the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 2 pm with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery.
