Caroline Keeping
October 18, 1927 – April 22, 2024
Ramea, NL
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Caroline (Carrie) Keeping announce the passing of our beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Edwin (Ann), Lorne (Helen), Ralph (Shirley), Floss (Jim), Sandra (Max), and Kevin (Marsha); 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of niece, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold; two children: Larry and Dennis; two grandchildren: Veronica and Myles; daughter-in-law: Gladys; her parents; three sisters and two brothers.
Mom enjoyed a good game of cards or bingo at the seniors club, and sang in the church choir for 44 years. Caroline was always pleasant, she loved to laugh and tell stories about her days growing up in Ramea.
Thank you to the staff at the Calder Health Care Centre for their compassion and support while mom was in their care.
Visitations will take place at St. Boniface Church in Ramea on Wednesday, April 24 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm as well as on Thursday, April 25 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26 at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery, Ramea.
