Arthur William Edmonds
Robinson’s, NL
July 15, 1955 – May 4, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Arthur William Edmonds, who left us on May 4, 2024, after a battle with cancer. He was 68 years old.
Art, as he was fondly called by friends and family, was born on July 15, 1955, to the late Clara and Ellis Edmonds of Stephenville NL. Art lived a very independent life with a heart of gold. He was always there to lend a helping hand to others. He spent many hours building model boats.
Leaving to mourn are his brothers: Eric (Ida) Saint John, NB., and Phillip (Cathy) Fort McMurray, AB; sisters: Catherine (Terry) Barachois Brook, NL., Pearl (Floyd) Fort McMurray, AB., Maureen (Tony) Fort McMurray, AB., Valerie (Dennis) Corner Brook, NL., and Vivian (Shawn) Fort McMurray, AB; sister-in-law Betty, Edmonton, AB., Uncle Clifford Goodyear, Stephenville Crossing, and Elaine Goodyear, Sydney NS., as well as many nephews, niece, cousins and friends. Especially his special friends and neighbours in the Bay St. George South, Manor for Seniors in Robinsons NL.
Art was predeceased by his mother Clara Edmonds Fillatre, father, Ellis Edmonds; brother Ron Edmonds and stepfather Mackie Fillatre.
We would like to thank Dr Sheila Lewis, staff at the Silverwood Manor, Kippens and the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, for the great care you gave our brother.
Cremation has taken place and as per Art’s wishes there will be no memorial service.
Your suffering is over. Rest in peace our brother.
