It is with sad and heavy hearts that the family of the late Agnes Monica Applin of Shoal Cove West, NL. announce her passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre, Port Saunders, NL. on Wednesday, May 29, at the age of 85 years.
She leaves to mourn: daughter Gloria (Ron), sons: Sib (Perfie), Pat (Trinda), Peter (Ruth); sister Vonnie; grandchildren: Cory (Joy), Kylie (Guy), Abby (Brian), Jari, Jolon (Holly), Alethea (Peter), Danika, Tanisha; great-grandchildren: Braden, Blair, Grayson, Belle, Caiden, Kyia, Harper, Josie, Lily, Kaylee, Zack; a large circle of nieces, nephews and special friends.
Agnes is predeceased by her husband Peter Applin; parents Sylvester and Hannah Genneaux; sisters: Charlotte (Ambrose) Frances (Bill), Cora (Max); brothers: Bill, Garfield (Alma), John (Sadie); special nieces: Augustine and Vonnie.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre and Lane’s Retirement Home of Port Saunders for the unconditional care given to our Mom.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held @ St. Margaret’s of Scotland Anglican Church, Reef’s Harbour, NL.
Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 7pm – 9pm.
Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 1pm – 9pm / Family Service 8pm.
Funeral Service / Celebration of Life on Monday, June 3, 2024 @ 11am with Reverend Terrance Coates officiating.
Interment to follow at the French Cove Cemetery, Shoal Cove West, NL.
