It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Reuben James Dwyer (Jim) after a brief battle with cancer at his home in Gander with his 2 children by his bedside.
Predeceased by his wife Karen in 2013 and his mother Grace Button in 1988
Left with fond and loving memories are his Son Jimi Dwyer and His Daughter, Linda Dwyer, his good friends Al and Margaret Rogers and many, many more friends.
Jim loved to fish. It’s was one of his favorite things to do. He was excited to go fishing this summer past but he got sick and was hoping to be with us for the next season.
He would love to go fishing with his friend Al Rogers and had plans to do so this May 24 weekend coming. I know no matter where we go Dad will always be with us at every pond and every lake.
He was a great man and an amazing father and will be missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements entrusted through Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander – Carmanville.
